CATCH UP ON THE LATEST AND GREATEST FROM HUBSPOT...
In the first quarter of 2023, HubSpot rolled out roughly 200 new features and updates across all of its Hubs. If you had a hard time keeping up with them all, don't worry — we've got you covered.
We sorted through all the release notes, recaps, and tips and tricks videos to put together a shortlist of the Q1 HubSpot updates that we think you'll be most excited about, subscriber.
So without further ado, let's dive into all the exciting new features that HubSpot has to offer!
With colored deal tags, you can help your sales reps quickly identify and prioritize the most important deals in your pipelines with just a scan of the board. For example, you can now assign deals with a value greater than $10,000 a green tag called Large Deal.
Each account can have up to 10 deal tags. For accounts with Sales Hub Starter, deal tags apply to all pipelines. For Sales Hub Pro+, deal tags can be applied to specific pipelines.
Data validation is essential if you want data that’s actually useful in your portal. HubSpot’s new data validation rules for date properties allow you to set criteria for which dates are allowed based on your account’s time zone.
For example, if you want to ensure that people are only able to register for upcoming events, you can add a validation rule that only allows future dates for the event registration date field. This update applies to all Hubs and tiers.
Newly added pipeline logic allows admins to configure the “Create Ticket/Deal” forms so that depending on which pipeline a user selects, different properties will appear as visible or required.
This feature is useful if certain properties are relevant in some of your pipelines, but not all of them. If there are properties you want to be included across all pipelines, you should add them to the default record creator form instead. This update is available to all Hubs with Pro+ plans.
Have you ever wanted to split a contact list into randomized segments? If you have Marketing Hub Enterprise, now you can!
The new split list tool (currently in Beta) allows you to create up to ten randomized static sub-lists from any existing list. These lists can be any size you'd like, allowing for more testing possibilities outside of the typical A/B format — exciting stuff!
If you make a lot of complex workflows using if/then branching, then you’ll love this one. The new Clean Up tool suggests ways to simplify your workflows without impacting logic or outcomes — win-win. These suggestions can be implemented with just a click.
Pro+ users in any Hub will find this tool in the top right corner of their workflow builder.
It's difficult to narrow down all of the great updates and features HubSpot implemented in Q1 to just a handful of the top hits. Are there any that you think we missed, subscriber? Let us know, we'd love to hear from you!
😉 TLDR: Stretch your marketing dollars by leveraging social proof, engaging your existing customers, and optimizing your existing content.
