Google AdWords is not hard at all but just a bit time consuming. A number of people around the world are reaping its benefits without even having much of knowledge or skills. All you need to do is to select a couple of keywords and accept the default settings. But you shouldn’t expect to make money out of it as the veteran competitors will be there to do that. Google is constantly thinking of new ways to change it. If you want to achieve success in your PPC campaign, you need to familiarize with their thinking.
The AdWords has grown tremendously in the last decade. In its initial years, it was possible to be an AdWords expert by spending a few hours a day on your campaigns. Today, AdWords features have expanded and is very difficult to be managed by a single person with all the AdWords skills needed. But the problem is that people want to be familiar with the whole machine instead of relevant moving parts. Advertisers should try to master the market rather than paying a great deal of money on mastering AdWords.
This thing creates two problems. The first problem is that it takes away the resources which could have been used in increasing the sales through proper techniques. The second problem is that AdWords is not a thing which can be mastered by a person alone.
For several years, Google is trying to create a strong alternative for AdWords but nothing from Starter Campaigns to AdWords Express has succeeded so far. Some of them were very difficult to understand and operate while others were not capable to deliver as successful results as AdWords.
Google is leaving no stone upturned to make it simpler for even new advertisers to be benefited from it. It’s not going to stop before it ensures that the system hasn’t remained complicated for the beginners any longer.
