3 DAYS & 180+ SESSIONS LATER

The WEBITMD crew has returned from INBOUND 2023! We're still buzzing with excitement about everything we learned.

This year's sessions covered a range of topics, but the main themes included AI, strategy, and optimizing for revenue growth. Didn't have time to watch or attend this year? Here are our three biggest takeaways you need to know:

Key Takeaway #1 - AI is here to stay

INBOUND23 ushered in the era of HubSpot AI, so of course this year's sessions were packed with tons of helpful tips to incorporate AI into your daily workflow.

For marketers, it's all about using AI to free up time for high-level planning and optimization. For sales reps, AI can help you research prospects, prioritize tasks, and provide deeper personalization at scale.

Key Takeaway #2 - HubSpot is a customer platform

The HubSpot vs. Salesforce debate might be over — but not for the reason you think. This year, HubSpot unveiled its new positioning as a "customer platform", having transcended the definition of a traditional CRM or marketing automation platform.

With the ability to accept payments, manage your website, handle customer tickets, create campaigns, and prospect new leads all in one place, HubSpot is truly blowing away the competition and creating a category of its own.

Key Takeaway #3: Strategy > everything

All of these new tools and capabilities are great, but they also make it easier than ever to spend time and effort on tactics that won't really move the needle.

To come out on top, revenue leaders need to get hyperfocused on strategy. Think about what your business actually needs to grow, and double down in those areas. When in doubt, follow the data.

😉 TLDR: HubSpot is bigger and more AI-powered than ever before. But don't let all the new features lead you astray; strategy is still #1.
